Taught by the best, she's perfected her skill as a burlesque performer and adds her own flavour to her shows. Her personal style is all about class and mystique, yet her music repertoire includes rockabilly, punk and pretty much whatever suits her for a show. Leave them wanting more. Like the good old days of Burlesque.
The first time I met Tara Mi Sioux, she told me how she grew up wanting to be like Liza Manelli. She loved watching how she commanded a stage with her strong performance and desire to entertain. After seeing Tara Mi Sioux perform, I can say she would make Liza pale in comparrison. She radiates confidence and charm. She has presence and commands attention when she walks on stage. She is everything that makes her a star.
Designing all of her own costumes, she ruffles and crystallizes everything by hand. She controls the entire performance down to the very last pearl.
Right now she is in London and can be seen performing Saturday the 4th at the London Burlesque Festival which runs from April 1 - 5. Later this April she will be competing in the Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend Burlesque competition, was one of 10 performers voted to participate this year. This events is held in the Orleans Hotel from April 9 - 12.
