History
In 2003, a model by the name of Malin Lindström and a photographer, Elin Strigå got together and created a network for people who came from different alternative subcultures to collaborate and post their pictures. This network was called the Nocturnal Models Agency which quickly grew through the years and it became clear that there was a need to turn this network into a business.
In 2005, Donnie and Deborah Lygonis, a marketing duo, joined Nocturnal Models Agency. At this time the agency included models, photographers, makeup artists and stylists based throughout Europe. Their goal was to establish an alternative agency and compete with their mainstream competitors.
In 2008, Managing Director, Nicole Östman came onboard and by the end of 2008 it was decided to take the agency to a whole new level.
By 2009, it was decided to restructure and develop other areas of interest by adding Performers to the listing. Meanwhile, redefining the goals and purpose of the company which was not limited to booking models, lead to the launching of a new agency.

Core Thinking
theCore has always strived to deliver the most talented people to the entertainment industry while remaining loyal to the idea that models should not have to transform themselves in order to successfully promote any brand or product.
We hand pick each person we represent through a delicate casting process while we intend to have only the most talented and beautiful representation as well as looking for the alternative core of the individual.
theCore stands up against the idea that models should be a certain size, or length, or look. We represent subcultures which for the most part represent a large percentage of the entertainment industry's target audience. This is why we are accessable for any type of assignment wether it is for high fashion or alternative in design.
Unlike any other agency out there, we offer our talent the keys to better their personal portfolios through management and inner network. While we also see the benefit of publicizing their achievments as we feel that their succes is also our success. We are more than an agency.
