Bio
Carlis recieved his Masters Degree from Stockholm University in Film Art and Media & Communications. He has also studied at Fotoskolan in Stockholm, Sweden. His style cover a wide range, while always trying to push the envelope. He avoids the most obvious clichés and add his own personal touche, which sometimes shows up as queer or disturbing.
Besides commercial work, he is currently working on his own project which considers the relation to the image and expression of others and our bodies. The abstract connection between flesh and mind, while examining the subjective body rather than the body as a passive object.
Achievements
Carlis has worked with various companies, advertising agencies, models and other clients engaged in both communication and arts. He has been published with cover shots and editorials in magazines such as FemKul, KULT, Skin Two, Horizont, Cap & Design, Forum and Swedish daily press, e.g. Dagens Nyheter, Svenska Dagbladet and Metro. |
