Bio
Elin was educated in Arts of Photography in the Fotoskolan in Göteborg and was one of the co-founders of the Nocturnal Models Agency. Her style is fantasy and macabre with the ability to capture an entire story in one image. Her female portraits are captivating and strong, which places Elin in the forefront of fantasy photography. Photographer in Focus April 2009 Elin has many publications such as the cover work for SkinDeep Magazine UK issue no. 134, and Scandinavian Tattoo Magazine summer issue 2006. Also published in Kamera & Bild 2007, Italian Alufem Magazine issue no. 1, French Pop-up Mag issue no. 2, Close-Up Magazine issue no. 95, and Mingla Magasin. Other publication work includes: cover and promotional images for the Bianca Muffins book, and Boheme Noir flyer. She has also worked with bands such as Devian, Shining, Nominon, Nox Aurea and Domgård, and Morlocks. Booklets & poster/promotional photography for bands such as The Pricks, singer songwriter Tove Quick, singer Maria CaVenus, Den Saakaldte, as well as concert pianist Niklas Sivelöv. Elin's interviews can be found in articles for Nollnitton issue no. 1 2007, Modern Showgirls fanzine, Nerikes Allehanda 081219, and Vamp Fatale fanzine. Exhibitions include 'Carpe Tenebrum' in Uppsala 2007, 'Mystik' in Elverket Stockholm 2006, and '21st Century Fairytale' in Gothenburg 2004. |
